The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
I’m pleased as punch to be able to put up a 2011 Winner’s badge! This year I cruised in with a win just after midnight on November 29. I participated much more in my local region and am so happy that we won the local tri-region word war. It was very fun sitting at a coffee shop typing madly along with everyone else. Made me feel like a real writer. My productivity was not always consistent with all the company but the inspiration more than made up for the missed words.
As November was only a kickoff to a year long Noveling Challenge, I now have much work to do. The first draft is not yet complete and then the putting aside before the inevitable edits begin. By this time next year I hope to be querying the 2011 NaNo piece to agents.
